  • Job Description

    GDIT's Total Rewards Team is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Compensation Analyst to participate in the development, implementation, and administration of company compensation programs. This person will be Compensation's liaison with one of GDIT's largest, most dynamic Divisions, as well as lead efforts to overhaul the company's job descriptions in 2019.


    Key duties are:


    1. Provides counsel to management and Division HR Business Partners regarding compensation issues including salary actions, internal equity issues, job classifications, and FLSA/SCA issues.


    2. Reviews and audits hires, off-cycle and other salary actions for internal and market equity as well as compliance with internal policies and procedures and related labor laws, including FLSA and SCA.


    3. Responds to audit requests from DOL, DCAA and internal auditors.


    4. Serves as lead Analyst for one or more major compensation functions/programs, including market surveys, incentive planning, salary structure development, process automation, and/or performance management.


    5. Participates in the administration of the annual performance evaluation process and reviews merit actions for conformance to policy.


    6. Supports proposal efforts by providing labor category mappings, market data, and other HR statistics.


    7. Participates in the development and delivery of compensation-related training programs and materials.


    8. May provide guidance and training to less experienced compensation staff.


    9. Maintains current knowledge of labor laws and related regulations and trends affecting the compensation function.


    10. Participates in special projects as required.


    Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or a related business discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.


    1. 5-8 years of related experience in compensation.


    2. Professional Certification (CCP) preferred.
