The Electrical Engineer works with the engineering development team in all phases of the aircraft systems integration life cycle to design and integrate new and existing aircraft systems in support of Air Force Special Operations Forces in a fast paced exciting environment. Participate in electrical engineering design decisions and assist in the development of electrical and electronic requirements. Interface with subject matter experts including pilots, navigators, and mission support staff to assist in defining system architectures. Create and maintain applicable electrical design plans, schematics, electrical analyses, test plans, test reports and test data. Perform technical tasks to design, document, and test electrical and electronic systems and components. Support resolution of technical issues. Prepare briefings, cost estimates, metrics, and status reports to support project and team management. Attend technical and managerial meetings and reviews. Interface effectively with component and system commercial vendors to design and/or purchase items that meet system requirements. There will be a particular emphasis on rapid-reaction engineering solutions to emerging requirements and operational incidents from fielded units.

Masters Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline from an ABET accredited university required
8-10 years of related experience.
Must have a Secret Clearance to begin work and the ability to obtain a Top Secret-SCI security clearance
The work is typically performed in an office environment but will require some on-aircraft work
This work may require short-term TDYs to meet with users and/or perform aircraft analysis
Must be able to obtain a passport for OCONUS travel, if required. Existing passport highly desired
