Job Description

The Senior Director, Intelligence shall act as the overall lead, manager, and liaison between intelligence and communication activities for the contracted effort. The Senior Director, Intelligence shall direct efforts of cross-competency teams, to include contractors at multiple locations, and shall serve as the primary interface and POC with Government program authorities and representatives on technical and project issues. The Senior Director, Intelligence shall be responsible for regularly briefing leadership on program status and milestones. The Senior Director, Intelligence shall oversee contractor personnel project operations by developing procedures, planning, and directing execution of the contractual, technical, multi-disciplinary engineering, programming, maintenance, and administrative support effort, and monitoring and reporting progress. The Senior Director, Intelligence shall manage acquisition and employment of project resources and control financial and administrative aspects of the project as well as identification of additional cross-domain opportunities.

 

Functional duties include:

  1. Manages and is responsible for the successful completion of all tasks in assigned program area including technical work, financial and business development activities.
  2. Supervises assigned technical and administrative staff, including subordinate managers and directors, and performs personnel actions including hiring and performance evaluation.
  3. Directs program activities to meet client and organization work objectives and serves as a liaison with clients to coordinate activities, negotiate tasks, and solve problems.
  4. Responsible for profitability and revenue growth of assigned programs.
  5. Assures quality of program products, services, and deliverables, including participating in reviews, audits, and site visits.
  6. Performs business development activities, including the preparation and review of technical and cost proposals.
  7. Performs program financial management services, including financial analysis, budget and cost quote preparation, cost management, reconciliation, and profit enhancement.
  8. Coordinates and monitors sub-contractor activities and administers subcontractor deliverables and finances.
  9. Develops, reviews, and approves plans, schedules, consulting agreements and other program documents.
  10. Prepares and provides various reports and technical reviews to senior management as requested.
  11. Ensures compliance with relevant corporate and government policies and standards.
  12. Participates in special projects as required.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  1. Superior management and leadership skills.
  2. Ability to manage multiple programs and projects simultaneously.
  3. Effective business development skills including proposal development and preparation.
  4. Effective communication skills.
  5. Detailed knowledge of relevant government regulations and standards.

 

Requirements:

The Senior Director, Intelligence must have the following requirements:

  1. Senior Service College graduate.
  2. Active duty service as a senior joint intelligence officer in the special operations community.
  3. Active duty service as a mid-level joint intelligence officer in a special operations unit.
  4. Resident command and general staff college graduate.The Desired PM will have the following:2. Significant operational and business experience with leading intelligence challenges confronting the community

 

The Desired Senior Director, Intelligence will have the following qualifications:

  1. Recent (defined as within the last 12 months) active duty service with the joint special operations community as a senior intelligence officer.
  2. Significant operational and business experience with leading intelligence challenges confronting the community.
  3. Currently reside within a 30-mile radius of the contract execution location.

 

Education

1. Bachelors Degree in a related business or technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.

 

2. Masters Degree Preferred.

 

Qualifications

  1. Required Bachelor’s degree.
  2. Desired Master’s degree in a related technical field
  3. Required minimum of six years of experience managing complex projects of a similar size, scope, and complexity
  4. Desired ten years of experience in a military environment performing in a related subject area
  5. Must have an Active Top Secret-SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance
