Job Description

ARMA/GDIT is sourcing for a Full Stack Development Lead for an Information Technology program in the Fayetteville, NC area.  Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Selecting all software development technologies and tools.
  • Guiding the execution of all software development processes and practices within the program.

 

Functional duties for the Full Stack Development Lead position include:

  • Support system-level design and configuration of products including determination of hardware, operating system, and other platform specifications to meet project requirements while maintaining interoperability with existing sponsor network(s).

To be considered qualified, Full Stack Development Lead candidates must have/demonstrate the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree computer science, software engineering or an engineering or technically related field.
  • 15 years of overall engineering experience.
  • 10 years of experience in developing/delivering software solutions.
  • 5 years of experience with microservices and REST APIs.
  • 5 years of experience in agile development methodologies.
  • 5 years of full stack development experience using technologies such as Java, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, JSON, XML, Spring, AngularJS, React across the data, application, and web tiers of a multi-tier information technology environment.
  • 3 years of team leadership experience.
  • Experience in briefing senior Government leadership on complex problems and analyses of alternatives for addressing these problems.

Knowledge, skills and abilities desired to effectively fulfill the Full Stack Development Lead position include:

  • Master’s degree in an engineering or technically related field.
  • Certified Scrum Master Certification.
  • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Agilist Certification.
  • 2 years of experience using AWS, Azure on similar cloud technologies.
  • 2 years of DevOps experience.
  • Experience using NoSQL technologies using as MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase or DynamoDB.
  • Experience in multiple programming languages.

 

Education

  1. Bachelor of Science degree computer science, software engineering or an engineering or technically related field.
  2. Masters Degree preferred.

The Full Stack Development Lead candidate must have the following qualifications:

  • Required Qualifications and Skills for the Full Stack Development Lead are as follows:
    • TS/SCI clearance.
    • Bachelor of Science degree computer science, software engineering or an engineering or technically related field.
    • 15 years of overall engineering experience.
