Job Description

ARMA/GDIT is sourcing for an Information Security Lead for an Information Technology program in the Fayetteville, NC area.  Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Leading all information security activities that result in delivering an accredited capability into operations.
  • Continuously monitoring and remediating issues and attacks to maintain the Confidentially, Integrity and Availability of the field system or application(s).
  • Ensure that technical planning, leading, organizing, and motivating of teams of contractors and subcontractors are being achieved to a high level of performance, technical, and engineering quality.

To be considered qualified, Information Security Lead candidates must have/demonstrate the following qualifications:

  • Bachelors of Science degree in an engineering or technically related field
  • 15 years of overall engineering experience.
  • 10 years of experience in developing/delivering information security related capabilities.
  • 7 years of experience in executing processes that comply with ICD-503, and the Risk Management Framework as described in NIST Special Publication 800-37 and supporting Government publications
  • 3 years of team leadership experience.
  • Experience in briefing senior Government leadership on cybersecurity and enterprise security topics, threats, risks, and trends, as well as providing guidance on security technological innovations.

Knowledge, skills and abilities desired to effectively fulfill the Information Security Lead position include:

  • Master’s degree in an engineering or technically related field.
  • DoD 870 IAM III Compliant Certification, such as CISSP or CISM.
  • 3 years of experience in agile development methodologies.
  • 3 years of experience with microservices and REST APIs.
  • 2 years of experience in obtaining A&A approvals for multi-tier web applications using a cloud-based hosting platform.
  • Effective communication skills.

Education

  1. Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering or technically related field (Master's Degree desired). 

Qualifications

The Information Security Lead candidate must have the following qualifications:

  • Required Qualifications and Skills for the Information Security Lead are as follows:
    • TS/SCI clearance.
    • Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering or technically related field.
    • 15 years of overall engineering experience.
    • 10 years of experience in developing/delivering information security related capabilities
