Job Description

ARMA Global is seeking a self-starter Network Administrator that can perform in a small team capacity and can support a dynamic Special Operations customer responsible for maintaining hardware and software critical to the functionality of the organization. Under general supervision assists global customers with SOF deployable kit configurations, must have an understanding or be familiar with KG's, routers, switches, tunnels along with Configuration Files and Cutsheets. Maintains and reviews network security logs. Manages network performance. Troubleshoots and resolves problems to ensure quality transmission service on the network. Administers network policies, procedures and standards. Enforces security procedures. Maintains file servers, network access; documents, analyzes and troubleshoots system anomalies to ensure optimum equipment performance, prepares system for operational use and support operational tests. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the 5-8 year equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.



  • Must have a current Security Plus; DoDI 8570.01m Certification
  • Microsoft CCNA
  • Requires a good working knowledge of network administration and information systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot a variety of business software applications
  • Must be able to evaluate network performance and interact with users to solve problems, most of them moderately complex
  • Must closely follow network protocols and methodology



  • ITIL Certification preferred
  • Should be able to distinguish between hardware problems, software problems or user error
  • Basic business communication skills
  • Detail oriented and organized; able to understand network evaluation criteria and be exact in assessments
  • Provides technical guidance and leadership to staff with less experience
  • Able to effectively conduct and interpret tests, and troubleshoot solutions of moderately complex operational problems
  • Detail oriented and organized; able to understand information systems and ensure accuracy of work
  • May need to review the work of others and be able to detect errors or needed modifications
