Job Description

ARMA Global is looking for a Capture Manager with a proven track record of capture successes in the United States Special Operations Market Space. This key team member will help accelerate our capture and strategic marketing initiatives.

 

The Capture Manager will work with the Business Development and Solutions Development Teams to lead capture efforts on opportunities. Using proven capture best practices, the Capture Manager will oversee all activities on the opportunity until Proposal Development stage - and then will work closely with the Proposal Manager to ensure a winning proposal is submitted on a timely basis.

 

The Capture Manager will be focused on the customer’s needs and able to craft a compelling, strength-based technical and pricing solution while identifying and managing risk. This position requires the ability to plan, budget, and coordinate involvement of all required resources, including Technical Directors, Program Managers, Finance, Contracts, HR, Recruiting, etc. Candidates must demonstrate a successful record of assessing partners and negotiating team roles and responsibilities.

  • Develops and implements capture plans and strategies, understands the customer's requirements and the competition as well as develop/implement winning strategies that highlight strengths and mitigate weaknesses.
  • Working with Business and Solution Development Teams on multiple and concurrent opportunities, including defining the criteria and strategy for winning on technical solution and price, based on agency plans, budgets, and first-hand knowledge of the customer’s hot-buttons
  • Developing and maintaining capture plans, including opportunity qualification, agency research, competitive intelligence/assessment, and partner assessment
  • Analyzing RFIs and RFPs in concert with partners and preparing questions for the customer
  • Participating in customer and partner presentations, as well as internal capture briefs
  • Working with Marketing to position ARMA/GDIT as the preferred contractor prior to RFP release
  • Ensuring all required pursuit planning and execution status information is accurately reflected in pipeline management systems, calendars, and other business systems
  • Representing the company at industry, customer, and partner conferences
  • Contributing to knowledge capture and management
  • Helping to improve the company’s overall capture processes

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology or a business related discipline, professional training, or work/military experience.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years supporting business development in federal technical services contracting
  • 5+ years of successful track record in a Federal Capture Management role
  • Industry reputation as a winning capture manager with high integrity, drive, leadership, and a concern for the company’s reputation
  • Experience in hands-on responsibility of three (3) capture portfolios at any given time
  • 5+ years of capture experience in engineering, Information technology and/or relevant customer business environment.
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required; public speaking experience a plus
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office suite
  • Previous capture experience with Department Of Defense a plus
