Provide enterprise level support and monitoring for World-class Test and Evaluation Center. This would include performing configuration, administration, troubleshooting and support of Cisco networking devices, WAN/LAN optimization systems, VoIP/RoIP/Video, and encryption devices. Oversee implementation of systems specifications; integration, testing, and documentation are a key part of the role. Exhibit strong technical skills related to numerous networking technologies including but not limited to: EIGRP, route redistribution, route filtering, Multicast, QoS, NBAR, GRE tunnels, Layer 2/3 switching, interVLAN routing, NAT, VPNs Spanning Tree, standard/extended ACLs, TACACS, Solarwinds, Riverbeds, and encryption devices. Additional responsibilities include auditing of network/system devices to ensure standards compliance, building mobile communications packages, and working on projects.
This position typically provides in-garrison support but may be subject to provide deployed OCONUS IT Support as required. This support may include Forward-Deployed OCONUS locations, including Areas of Active Hostilities (AAH), as well as, areas Outside Declared Theater of Active Armed Conflict (ODTAAC), in sometimes harsh field conditions, including Forward Operating Bases (FOB).
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
5-8 years of directly related experience in network administration and support.
